City of Boise announced the Mayor's Excellence in Design Awards recipients. Trout Architects has been honored with awards in Excellence for the Young/Johnson Residence and J Crist Gallery. Honorable Mention has been given to Grand Avenue Homes. The Award Ceremony and Reception will be held at City Hall on January 27, 2009. |

Trout Architects and their client Neighborhood Housing Services of Idaho, receive an Idaho Smart Growth Award for their Grand Avenue Homes project. It was selected as an infill project for its location to the urban core, architectural design and revitalization of a part of downtown "that is off the beaten path". The jury noted "The design consciously fits within its urban neighborhood providing an enjoyable pedestrian experience. Trout Architects was given the Award of Merit in Architecture at the 2008 American Institute of Architects Idaho Chapter Honor Awards Program for The Modern Hotel and Bar. Trout Architects proudly launches a new website! Schick-Ostolas Farmstead celebrated their recent renovations with a Grand Opening to the public on Saturday, October 11. The Dry Creek Historical Society provided a glimpse back in time with its Old Time Farm Day. The farmstead is listed in the National Register of Historic Places for its significance in Idaho agricultural history. |
