civic center parking garage / boise city hall annex

This project, completed in 1990, takes a structural shell of an existing parking garage and turns it into a building which will add an additional 16,000 square feet to the present City's administration office space. The new offices are located on the street level of the Civic Center Parking Garage, located at 6th and Idaho Streets. The City Departments of Fire Administration, Personnel, Central Services in addition to a new Cafeteria are located in this building.

To upgrade the facility a new thin brick exterior was added to the existing structure. The design of the new facade complements the existing City-County Complex unifying what used to be conflicting architectural styles.
