For this client, Trout Architects/Chartered created a dynamic house transformation that included the addition of a kitchen, dining room, carport, exterior patio and vestibule admitting light into the once dark entrance. Within the newly created continuous space, steel, maple and concrete details harmonize with an exterior court trimmed in walnut and stone. The forms of the additions are oriented toward specific views.
