newt & harolds boards & skates A medical building turned urban sports shop, this project required complete remodel of the interior and color, lighting and signage changes to the exterior. Trout Architects/Chartered created a new mezzanine level over one third of the space. This area, utilized for storage and administration, is separated from the public space by corrugated fibreglass panels and supported by steel columns. The transluscent wall encourages light and color to move through the entire space, creating an urban, industrial feel for this retail store.
