Trout Architects has had extensive experience working with libraries of multiple types and sizes, each library owning its own specific design needs, parameters, requirements and context.
Trout Architects was tasked with the re-design of the 3rd floor of The Boise Main Public Library. The Idaho collections room was to be relocated, repurposing an underutilized storage area creating the new Marge Ewing Idaho Room. Taking the place of the old Idaho Collections room was a new larger Marion Bingham conference room. This new conference room seats approximately sixty-five people. A portion of the existing administration offices were rearranged and a new hospitality counter was added.
Trout Architects has and continues to work closely with Boise Public Libraries in order to keep our city’s libraries current and an integral part in our community.
