Down and up. Trout Architects, along with The City of Boise Arts & History Department and various general contractors, has finished the reconstruction of the Boise River Sculpture that climbs up the south facade of the Grove Hotel. Trout Architects was contracted by the City to renovate and repair this very special piece of public art. We took down the existing granite, aluminum, fog system and neon lighting and replaced it with new materials and systems that are designed to last, without disrupting Alison Sky’s (the artist) original intent. Adding diversity to our work, Trout Architects is proud to have been involved with such a significant project for The City of Boise.
